It appears as though there WILL be offline battles with "high replayability" according to the lead designer, so basically it's exactly like the first two games. I'm still hyped.
@sub12 It reeks of nothing, this was most likely the plan from the beginning. This is Star Wars Battlefront, the title has always been focused on massive multiplayer battles.
The original game was multiplayer focused, so is this game. Why is this such a big issue for people? Have they played Battlefront 1 and 2? I find the lack of space battles more disappointing.

It has to be Star Control 2, Tactics Ogre, or Brigandine for PS1. All just amazing games that never get old.
