I have the platinum on Alan Wake 2. Absolutely loved it, so I’m pleased other people will now try it if they didn’t want to risk buying it. I have cocoon on switch and it’s mind bending. Goat simulator can do one though lol, my son will probably have fun on that however lol.

I’m yet to play Cronos, but I’m already a bloober team fan I’ve got all their games minus the medium, but I do want to play that regardless of reviews. Been playing hell is us all weekend. It’s absolutely fantastic, I wish it does well, it deserves to. I hope they make more games in this style.

I'm hoping the way the trailer implied a shoulder camera and sifu style combat is how it ends up. If it's just the same as the Yakuza games but in 1915 it'll be good, but this seems a step up

This was a day one game for me, so I already own it. I'm just hoping sonic frontiers isn't one of them as rumoured, as I bought that last month on sale lol

I've put in a fair few hours now and it's definitely feels like they really took breath of the wild's design philosophy to heart. I've never watched HP, never read the books so have no emotional attachment going in but so far this game has blown me away.

I can’t wait. More interested in the rose story but I’ll deffo replay in third person just to see how it is. I wonder if they’ll be any new trophies

Deathloop is not that easy to platinum, this guys lying lol. I go for them if I think I can do it. Got one for Elden ring, both Spider-Man games, and like another 6 I can’t think of but my favourite was sekiro. That’s the main one I feel something like pride for.

@LiamCroft out of curiosity, if you could delete the base ps4 game from memory, would you still rate the ps5 version a 6?

@tomassi origins in the only one I enjoyed in the new style. Even then it was a slog to get through. Valhalla, I put 70 hours into that game before deciding it was boring. I can’t remember a single thing about it. Bland is generous.

@Ico1977 I think the scariest game for me was outlast 1. Went in not knowing anything. The first moment you need to use night vision on the camcorder I was already like ‘nope’. It was great though.

@Wallace80 I think of re3 as a companion to re2 rather than it’s own game. That made the cut content easier to swallow lol

@paulbuck1996 out of all the dlc for 7 I loved Bedroom, it’s so good! They are all good but that stood out

I hope we have the option to not transfer trophies. I know it’s sad, but would be fun to start from scratch on ps5.

It’s pretty easy to platinum. I thought it would take me 6 months, not three weeks. Dark Souls 3 is much harder to platinum due to the covenant requirements, i still haven’t got that one. They should’ve gone harder on the trophies I think.

@get2sammyb it is really good, I’ve got it on the Switch. Like they say here, it does get a little receptive but the story is good. Some genuine ‘no way!’ moments in there

@RBMango 100% same here. I remember trying Astro Bot thinking wow, this is cool. As soon as the camera starting panning, instantly felt sick. The only game I could play was the one heading footballs into the goal.

I think the best location I’ve found is the war dead catacombs. I won’t say exactly where it is for spoiler reasons but if you really want to know it, Google it. You can passively earn easily 30k runes every 15 minutes or so and you don’t need to kill a single enemy yourself. Just run down the stairs so they start taking HP from each other and go back upstairs and just wait.

@Slippship I found watch dogs 2 really grating. The characters were so forced ‘cool’ that it was cringe to me. Legion isn’t great, but neither is 2 lol.

@PaperAlien drive club deserved better. Most complete and fun racing game I’d played in ages. Bikes was bloody tough though

Red dead 2 100% needs a patch. Sleeping dogs I’ve literally restarted this week so would definitely be welcome. And alien isolation is just great, 60fps would make it amazing. Sleeping dogs is so much fun though, just a proper ps5 patch to run better would be nice. The lag can get in the way at times

@LTPenguin if you use the PlayStation app or go to the store on a web browser you have the option to add to library. I made sure I’ve been doing it since launch

@LTPenguin still though, it’s now in your library for when you do get one which is a bonus.

PS4 we had rumours for lost legacy. I’d be thrilled if that was the case, I somehow never played it! For PS5, I’m thinking an indie game. Might need to see what’s releasing 3rd august to try and get some clues. I think it’ll be a new release though, similar to how soulstorm rolled out for ps5.

@Mezzer I wouldn’t say the problem with death stranding was caused by a fear of new concepts. The entire game was a fetch quest with online elements. There’s nothing new to fear here. I think a lot of people disliked the game because it was pretentious and boring. You’d have to really be sold on Kojima to enjoy it. I consider my tastes fairly eclectic, and after roughly 30 hours with the game I called it a day. And I enjoy ‘walking simulators’ like layers of fear and observer, which most consider boring games.

I’d really like an Uncharted 4 upgrade. I played it again after finishing TLOU2 and damn it’s jarring going back to 30fps at first. Forget a directors cut, it doesn’t need changes, just frame rate update would be nice.
