Just platinum’d Control and am eagerly awaiting Saros. In the meantime I’ll probably just play some rounds of Arc Raiders in anticipation of the new map this week.
“It almost never makes it above 30 frames-per-second.” Ugh, really??? I know there’s a lot of procedural stuff and math going on in the background of this game, but damn, that’s disappointing. I played the demo, thought it was cool, but it hurt my eyes. I was really looking forward to this, but I may have to skip it unless other people say it’s not too bad.
I work in a profession that has been dealing with severe staffing issues for about 4-5 years now. I’ve been doing forced overtime for literally years. Do I want to work that OT? No. But do I want to keep my job? Yes. It sucks, but I don’t have any sympathy for the “crunch” issue in gaming.
@SeaDaVie hey man, I’m just giving my honest opinion. I played it and thought it was incredible. The hype is real for this one. That’s why you should give it a try during that beta weekend. 🤙🏻
I was able to play in the last Tech Test for this game in late April. I NEVER play online multiplayer games (especially the extraction genre), and don’t play competitive shooters, but this was honestly the most fun I’ve had with a video game in the last 5-10 years. I don’t know how to totally convey how great it is. And It’s completely viable to play as a solo as well. I haven’t been able to fully enjoy a game since I played the tech test. I seriously implore everyone that’s on the fence about this game to give it a try during this next server test. I created an account just to post this. Lol.
