Microsoft knocked it out of the park with a great stage setup, coordinated lighting that was very effective, great games and great presenters. You don't need to shuffle journalists through different venues in order to create atmosphere. This isn't a ride at Disneyland, and it's not an experience that you create on the show floor. This is a press briefing. Use a proper venue, have showmanship to actually talk about your games and your philosophy like Microsoft did or like Todd Howard did at the Bethesda showcase. And you can still create atmosphere for each title. Just look at what Microsoft did during the Forza segment of their show. The one part of Sony's show where there was someone talking, he rambled and was talking quickly and had no presentation skills. Learn from Apple. Learn from Microsoft. Learn from Todd Howard. That's how you do a show.
