That's do to the concentration on ai usage and Sony's marketing to those that have money to burn. Most people I know are struggling to pay bills. Our countries tariff issues are helping.
Sony should stop the coddling of games. Instead they promote what the want. People eat it up by loving or loathing something. Heck at least between Xbox, pc, and steam allow all rating of games.
Any time some game comes with a statue plus other things it going to run near $200+ anymore. You pay for everything in the none standard editions any more.

This is made more into an awkward rental system. Only Sony locks hard drives into a particular console.

Still can't afford a PS 5. Lack of physical media and society's pushed towards AI everything doesn't make it that much more appealing for ps6.
