@dskatter square enix does it all the time lol. "20 million sales did not meet our expectations" lol. Back to the subject at hand, it could go either way. They probably are lying, saying the typical PR jargon. Or it could be the truth. I've seen a lot of people on both sides of this. The coming weeks will be interesting indeed.
@Olmaz preorder numbers are solid according to Ubisoft, almost equalling that of Valhalla. The game sales may surprise us yet. People have been complaining about Ubisoft game for years yet the AC series always sells in the millions. Which means most fans don't care.
When people were wishing for an AC entry in Japan, it's because they wanted to be a ninja. So I personally don't care about Yasuke, especially since he is optional (the point I've been trying to make this whole time). If people want to play a samurai game, go the countless other titles. If people want to play a historical fiction series, play assassins creed. It's that simple.
@Olmaz Lol The requirements of playing as a native/local assassin in whatever part of the world the story has to be in. (Which they don't have to do, as they had poster boy Ezio travel). So I reiterate, the one Japanese character is enough. They didn't have to give us a samurai option at all. I'm hoping this game does hold up via the story and characters. Gameplay has come such a long way. The delay was worth it in that regard.
@Olmaz They can do whatever they want, it's their series. Ubisoft satisfied the requirements when they created Naoe, the Japanese Shinobi assassin. Anything else is a bonus. The series has always been historical fiction. I hope you play the game if it reviews well brother, it's looking really good now!
@KundaliniRising333 I don't think anyone is making excuses about the Pro. There are a lot of people on this website who do not like it. However , this has nothing to do with Sony since the vast majority of games patched for the Pro work wonderfully. These developers are the ones who are failing us in this scenario, as Jedi survivor runs terribly across all platforms. So I don't understand the Sony hate in this particular article.
So you know why she left her village, and you know there is a bad guy terrorizing their portion of the world.....That's pretty much it. I am sure there will be more to it than what was shown in the trailer guys lol
