I’m pretty excited for this actually. I’ve put off buying a PS5 for several reasons. One, they’re just very difficult to find, but I also thought the initial design was terrible. By the time this launches next year, there should also be a few more exclusives available, and I should be able to pick up a couple of the older ones, like Returnal, for pretty cheap
I haven’t actually seen this yet, but I am interested and will watch it once it hits iTunes. From the trailers, it doesn’t actually look like a great Uncharted movie, but it still looks like a fun treasure hunt pic nonetheless
I hope this comes to Switch as I’d rather have it there, but I’m all in on day one either way. I don’t see a mention of a physical version though, which means I’ll probably end up buying it twice once the physical gets announced six months after release
This is my most anticipated game of the year by a pretty wide margin. I usually have a personal rule against buying collector’s editions of games because of the space they take up, and I’m not even sure if there will be a collector’s edition for this game, but this is the rare instance where I really want one.
I actually think Sony will be fine as long as they continue to craft some of the absolute best single-player experiences in the industry. This also may end up being a good thing for PlayStation gamers as Sony, in my opinion, has never been better than they were in the late days of PS3 and early days of PS4 when there was good competition from XBOX. That said, I do think they should respond to Microsoft’s acquisition in a couple of ways, and I don’t necessarily think they need to run out and buy a bunch of studios. First, they need to double or triple down on PS5 production. I understand these are unprecedented times with supply chain shortages, but not once have I seen a single PS5 in any retail store for the last 14 or 15 months. Second, I think now would be a good time to announce new projects or revive one of their FPS IPs, like Resistance or Killzone
I don’t feel like Uncharted 3 belongs here as I actually think it’s the weakest of the PS3 trilogy. I also think I’d give the nod to Arkham Asylum over City. Personally, Id also bump Ratchet and Clank Collection and Metal Gear Solid Collection. They are incredible games for sure, but it’s hard for me to consider them true PS3 games. XCOM Enemy Unknown is my all-time favorite PS3 game, so that would definitely make the cut, and I’d slot in Spec Ops The Line, Dark Souls, and Valkyria Chronicles into my own personal list
I've held off the PS5 so far, mostly because I still have an enormous backlog of PS4 games that I'm still working through. Also, they're never in stock, but I've never liked the design of the PS5 either. This doesn't sound like it will be an aesthetic redesign, but I may just end up waiting for the inevitable slim model. If that were to come out in about a year and a half or so, I'd be happy to wait that long to pick up a PS5.

A 2D Prince of Persia with metroidvania elements, you say? Developed by Rayman Legends team, you say? Yes, please.
