Re: PS5, PSVR2 to Feature in Sony State of Play Livestream Today

OM1993

@Warriooh Honestly nor did I until earlier. Went to check if Bandai Namco's mystery slot for their main showcase on Thursday was still open (which I thought would have been the maybe, possibly Tekken 8 placement) but that's since been filled up by One Piece Odyssey it seems. But then also ended up finding out about this mystery stream too. It's scheduled for 21:00pm (JST timezone) this Sunday so keep your eyes peeled. Source below:

Re: Steelrising (PS5) - French Souls-Like Is Almost Great

OM1993

After reading up on generally what all of the reviews are saying at this moment in time, this game sounds like everything I wanted it to be. I was feeling nervy about Steelrising over the last few days, but I do feel whatever concerns I had have been put to rest. I don't care much about bugs and glitches, most of the time new releases come with them anyway. I'll be buying this day one for sure.

Re: Talking Point: Does Sony Need a Big Summer Showcase?

OM1993

I think they do need one, a few new titles need to be unveiled seeing as there only appears to be a few first party exclusive titles on the horizon - Ragnarok (a release date is needed for that too!), Spider-Man 2, Wolverine and that Horizon PSVR game. Maybe show something from TLOU Remake and the other ND Remake project too? Factions?? The supposed Insomniac multiplayer project??? The London Studios new PSVR project (and maybe chuck in some other upcoming PSVR games to whey appetites for the new system)???? Throw in some more third party exclusives and you have a good Summer showcase in the making I think - provided there is stuff ready to show off, of course.

It's crazy to think it's already been 7 months since Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine were officially unveiled. I'm betting Sony will surely come out and show more in the months to come, in some kind of showcase event.

Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

OM1993

I've just seen a YT review where the reviewer, who has sunk 2 weeks into the game, called this the most refreshing open world game they've played for a very long time, which has great characters and character development, excellent gameplay mechanics, an interesting open world, a dangerous nighttime gameplay cycle and a choice mechanic which greatly influences gameplay, so your choices really do matter here. Only complaint was the bugs, which will hopefully be ironed out soon. Depending on your bug tolerance, the reviewer said this is a must buy at any price, and will be a definite must buy once the technical problems are sorted. I trust this review above others due to the amount of time he invested in the game. Most outlets reviews sound like they didn't invest enough time to see everything that the game had to offer and/or played on easier difficulties as this particular review seemed to almost debunk most cons outlets threw at this game. Personally for me, this sounds exactly what I wanted from DL 2. Pre-ordered this a while back, and it appears I'm one of the people who's benefitting from an early retail release - getting my copy today!
