A competitive industry is good because consumers are the winners. Take PS+, it has improved drastically because of competition from Game Pass. Before it was revamped, it was dreadful to put it mildly.
The Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii era remains the best because every console was fighting for recognition. PlayStation wouldn’t be the industry powerhouse that it is today if it weren’t for the fact that Xbox 360 actually brought competition. Sony drastically improved their first party output and we got not one, two or three, but four Naughty Dog games in an entire generation. We may never see that again. Competition is good.
@SMJ Nothing you can do about it other than ignore/report it. I know for a fact some of these console fanboys are 40+ years of age which is appalling. What these fanboys need to realise is that Xbox staying relevant is to everyone's benefit. Without competition, Sony would be free to do as they wish.
Imho, Game Pass was doing fine UNTIL Call of Duty got thrown into the mix. I also think the revenue generated from ports to PS5 made Microsoft rethink the Game Pass model.
PS4 is probably the most important console in PlayStation's storied history. As Andrew House put it, "The stakes are high. Today marks a moment of truth". It was a monumental moment because had Sony got it wrong then it's very probable that PlayStation would've died out. Kudos on delivering a great product (albeit with an annoying fan that made more noise than it should) and keep it up. : )
My issue with PlayStation first party titles is that they go by the formula of: Story>Graphics>Gameplay.
The gameplay simply comprises of refining whatever else is out there. So, HZD has a number of elements that were done elsewhere. For instance, when you open the weapon/item wheel the game time slows down. This was already done in The Evil Within.
I want to see them push gameplay forward and take risks in that regard. Demon's Souls will always be a personal favourite of mine because it took risks in the gameplay department.

@Carnage I never said they weren’t competitors to PlayStation. I specifically said Xbox since this article is talking about Team Green.
Regardless, we need everyone to be competitive so we have a thriving industry with everyone pushing each other to greater heights.
