I only upgraded to extra because it was on offer, definitely got my money's worth. expires next month though so I'll be downgrading to essential as nothing takes my fancy anymore for the £50 more

Is it just me that was thinking there would be additional features for psplus premium members? You know, just to kick that subscriber count some more.

I can only assume that the best part of the game is at the beginning and they don't want me to play any further into it as it quickly becomes repetitive and boring?

Patch notes. Making more effort to try and get you to upgrade to a ps5. Your system will get slower over time and crash more.

I've still got 14 months left on my ps plus so how do I pay the additional £34 to upgrade to the next tier?

@thefourfoldroot I wouldn't have thought so as the "Download" stage only took about a minute, it was the "Copying" stage that took more like 40 minutes, then "Installing" took about 3 seconds. Not very next-gen for what was described as a 100MB update!

@thefourfoldroot if you don't use rest mode yo switch the thing on and it takes so long to do updates you've lost interest and your an hour through a film before it's finished! Mind you the destiny patch yesterday took 45 mins to install even with rest mode enabled... They really need to fix that.

@thefourfoldroot agreed but at the moment they aren't allowing us to upgrade the internal storage. When they do I'll buy one.

Once they bring out the patch that let's me plugin another ssd inside I'll go out and buy the console as I'm keeping my ps4 and it's external hdd in another room even when I get the ps5.

I'd go digital but considering you can't upgrade the ssd in the ps5 at the moment I'd have to constantly keep downloading the 100gb game i want to play instead of just putting the disk in. So I'm going optical as at least then I only have to download the patches again. Actually I might just wait a year and buy it then. Maybe they'll actually have everything sorted by then.

This game is now less than £20 on the ps4 and they expect people to pay £60 for these small graphical tweaks? Your having a laugh.

When preorders came up I knew a lot more about the new x box than the ps5 so I bought one of those as I'm not buying a console without knowing anything about it. But I'm keeping my ps4 Pro. From the news its a good job I did as looks like even if I had preorders a 5 I might not have got it until next year!

Played 2 hours on a friends console. Looks amazing but I got bored and went on a different game. I don't think I'll be buying it anytime soon.

Not much for battlefront but wwii is OK for what I pay which is £3.33 per month and the ability to chat and play with my friends.

The last update that came out I played the 2 new missions and then put it back on the shelf. None of my friends play anymore either because it's got boring. Everyone has gone back to gta and destiny 2 and playing this game on your own gets boring so quickly once you've done everything several times

Someone on the inside has told me that the real reason for this upgrade is to prepare our consoles for the upcoming update 6.73, which will a stability and performance update. Woohoo! 😂
