I have no problem with the anti-console PC gamers getting access to these games. As someone who plays on all platforms, I get to play them first.
I don’t feel PC should be ostracized from playing certain games because they don’t want to purchase a console, but they’ll be inherently forced to be a ‘patient gamer’ over that decision.
I’m not a huge FF fan, so I’ll keep going with some other great PS exclusives I’ve been playing on the PS5 in recent weeks.
The only Final Fantasy I’ve played is FFXV Royal Edition on Game Pass a few years back and I wasn’t a fan. It took me 10 months just to finish the game, procrastinating it constantly. One of these days I might try XVI or one of the remakes.
Kale Vandelay compared with Handsome Jack was almost Palworld compared with Pokemon levels of similarity, almost.
HiFi Rush is a real barrel of laughs and there are great accessibility settings if you couldn’t get the timing down like me, I was getting D & C grade for timing right till the end.
Grounded was a lot of fun and had Valheim vibes, so if you like that, you’ll probably like Grounded. I’m not sure if they added teleporters to Grounded yet but that was one thing that I felt it needed when I played it a year ago.
Hopefully when GTA 6 hits there will be a cross progression option, that is if they do any implementation of GTA Online into GTA 6. I have a 1300-hour account on the Xbox Series X version that I’ve used since 2013 on the 360.
It’s been a year since I played GTA online and I’m just waiting for GTA 6 now.
Pretty bad list, not gonna lie, but I’m still glad that I got one year of premium at 44% off a couple of weeks ago. After my subscription expires, I’m not sure if I’d renew it next year, as there is only about 1 year worth of content for me on the service currently as a new subscriber.
I’ve just uninstalled it today shortly after unlocking Mel T. I had played it for about 20 hours since launch.
I wasn’t a fan of the kill (chill) confirmed approach they took. Going against skilled, coordinated opponents was a nightmare because it’s very difficult to secure a chill against an opponent you foamed up without getting chilled yourself against these players.
It honestly feels like a free to play game with how budget the PVE mode feels. The upgrade mechanic with the different tiers of buffs (ranging from E to S tier) was just embarrassingly bad with horrible QOL. Most of the good skins are paywall locked and they even gave out one of the best skins for the main character if you played the beta, ostracising everyone else.
I rated it 3 stars on the PS store. It was fun while it lasted, but I don’t see myself returning any time soon, if at all.
None, I’ve had access to the entire catalogue for years across every generation of Xbox. I even got Gears of War for Christmas back in 2006.
I’m just using my PS5 to catch up on all those awesome exclusive games I missed over the years. That, and Foamstars, at least before it becomes the next Knockout City.
@Sifi I didn’t want to stray too far from the topic, but yes, I could have listed a lot of things. Overall, I’m quite impressed with how Sony handles certain things over Microsoft. There are many things Sony does that I wish Microsoft did with Xbox and vice versa.
I only just got my PS5 last October, so I’m getting a lot of value out of PS Plus Extra. The free games that come with essential are a nice bonus. On the contrary I’m not getting a lot of value out of Game Pass, barring a few new games here and there, since I’ve been with Xbox since 2003 and PS since only 2023.
It’s nice getting to see the stark contrast between what PS and Xbox has to offer by owning each system. Each side has their pros and cons, for example PS is the best place to play MGS5 because Xbox only has it as 900p, whereas Xbox is better for games like the older Dead Island games with 60fps boosts which PS doesn’t offer on those games.
The sales are another front, for example you can get Stray cheaper on PS, but Xbox had Dead Space digital deluxe for only $10 a while back, which is a lot cheaper than what PS has offered.
I’ve mainly been playing Palworld with a bit of TLOU No Return and Fortnite Festival. I finally got around to achieving ‘May your death be swift’ on my 4th attempt using Manny. I was so close to dying again with those devilishly fast clickers on my tail, but I just managed it somehow.

Re: Ancient Greece's Pantheon of Gods Leap into Fortnite's Latest Season on PS5, PS4
It’s a shame we didn’t get Aang (the main character from Avatar).
Seems like a bit of a downgrade from getting Geralt of Rivia in the Battle Pass not so long ago.

I’ll buy PS5 pro day one.
