TLOU 2 hid it’s real main characters, was the follow up to one of the best game ever made, released during the PEAK of the pandemic, the best financial period in history for gaming, and released on the 3rd best selling system ever, and a few months later on a new system.

Regardless, it was the lowest performing modern title in Naughty Dog’s library, selling less than the Uncharted trilogy remaster.

It says a LOT about the reception. It’s not a minority. There is a majority of the market that don’t want a lecture or activism in their game.

You need to appeal to your audience, and this, as a new franchise, will make them realize how crazy it is to allow an activist to lead a game development team.

If Concord didn’t teach them, this will.

I don’t think Horizon is the best fit

@naruball It’s something Big Bobby tried so many times with Activision. That’s why they had so many IPs under their name before the PS4. He always preferred a quick buck instead of making quality out of these franchises. Now we know it is really worth it.

I’m a big OW player, and to be honest everyone agree on Reddit and in general that the rank mode is a fiasco. They destroyed it and just mention that there is a misunderstanding instead of agreeing it’s a poor concept…

@Perturbator Let’s be honest, it’s the only way to save ABK, they have been destroyed by Bobby Kotick! Again this week two other controversies all tied to the way he manages his employees.

The recent events showed us that him pushing Activision and Blizzard together even more will kill many franchises.
