@Gunbolt, looks like still a PSN issue or server issue. I turned our system and router off here this morning and it worked. Might be worth a try. Have a look on your settinbgs:network and try an internet connection test. Even if you go to the web browser and see if that works.

@Gunbolt, happy to say we have full restored psn, we have one very happy son and a very happy dad! Hope things your way are all sorted. Have a nice day.
@gunbolt, ha. i'm still getting the same message as before! will it ever end or should i say work! As for the media, dont get me started! well ill keep this feed and see if there has been any further improvements in the morning, good luck and hope you have a nice xmas break.
@Tasuki, like a botnet then. Ah i see. Lots of people seem to have limited access in America though, so how does that work, different servers i suppose then is it?
You could be lead to believe its a faction when its actually someone else is what you mean i take it? I have read the FBI are involved as scaremongering stating ISIS is involved. It always comes down to that only the hackers know whats going on at the moment, I have read in one article that sonys online entertainment director john smedley had his plane to make an emergency landing recently. Not suprised the FBI are involved. Could this have been avoided, who knows however, im sure this will pan out eventually but the end user will never know when next this will happen. Youve got to think how safe is your personal data at the end of the day.
Hmmmn, yeah sounds a bit strange doesnt it. I would be suprised if anyone has full access to Sonys servers though. The first thing they would do is take them offline and run a test system before going live. We still aren't getting access to psn. Thinking maybe some people may just be jumping on the band wagon for publicity.
Well im getting past the online id stage but its still just timing out, ah well thank god fir the boxing day footy. roll on tomorrow hopefully sony will have a grip on things by then!
