Re: 8 Ways Sony Must Improve the PS Store for Our All-Digital Future

GotRedOnMe73

I really think the ability to trade or sell your digital game licenses would be a game-changing feature. I’d never thought of it before, but I think it could be done and would be popular.

Another suggestion I like is providing a proper kind of loyalty scheme. I do use Microsoft Rewards as it gives me points for doing all kinds of things, including playing games. I tend to cash my points in for store credit and it’s made the difference for me in which platform I might choose to buy my next game on - if I can get £10-20 off on Xbox, why would I buy that same game elsewhere? Sony could implement something similar and I’m sure it would go down pretty well.

Re: Sudden Steam Deck Price Increase Pins More Questions on PS6

Wow, these are crazy prices. I do kind of agree with the thought that we likely do spend way more on other tech (particularly smartphones and/or tablets) over the lifespan of a console, so what’s the fuss? But the fact is, these outrageous price increases are being caused by big companies pushing AI on a public that is increasingly tired of it already. The price of anything related to new tech are exorbitant these days - I saw a last-gen portable SSD (Samsung T7) on Amazon for at least £100 more than the price I paid for the same size and model a few years ago - and the current gen model is even more expensive. That’s taking the p***.

Re: Happy 30th Birthday to PlayStation

I must admit, I wasn’t that bothered when the first PlayStation came out, though I’m glad it did, as it definitely helped the gaming industry mature and become more mainstream. My favourite PS was the PS3, though I still enjoy picking up my PS4 now and then.

I prefer gaming on a different platform these days, but well done to Sony on all their hard work and changing gaming for the better, all those years ago!
