Re: Major Crimson Desert Patch Out Now on PS5, Makes Countless Gameplay Improvements

GoldenHour

Such a long list, I also agree why didn't they do all (or most) of these fixes before launch even taking a whole month with staff just to go through and test the game? Another game released too early. I have read all the mixed reviews and not sure it is for me so far so I will also wait a while for all the patches and pick it up in a year or two. Good to see the quality getting better especially on PS5 and to see a brand new IP doing so well and not another remake/remaster/remade/remake of a remaster on PS5.

Haha reading my posts back I think I am turning into a grumpy old gamer or spent too long gaming since Pac-Man to see all the same mistakes repeat themselves over and over 🤣

Re: PS5 Pro Buyers Rush to Beat $899.99 Price Hike Next Week

I am not getting caught up in the FOMO and will save my £700-£800 and put it towards the PS6. I am very happy with my base PS5 with disc built in for the last 5 years. I have a 4K tv with only a 60fps limit and sit usual distance away so the PS5 Pro will have no benefit for me at all as most PS5 games already look great with upscaling to 4K. I get brilliant graphics in quality mode already if needed. The differences are very minimal for me even with PSSR 2.0 running and I would then have to buy a separate disc drive £80-£100 + and then feel I won't want to upgrade again when the PS6 with better tech arrives so I will wait it out for the PS6. I can see the benefit of a Pro if you are new to PlayStation or if you really need that 120fps or sit close to a large OLED tv/monitor. But I have always been happy with a quality locked 30fps or performance 60fps, even all films only run at 24fps.

I also think many of you will be surprised how aggressive they will price the base PS6 on launch with bundles. I think less than the PS5 Pro.
