I'm pretty sure Game and GameStop are in completion, see who can screw the most customers each month. I'm pretty sure Game bought gamestation purely to get rid of any competition. In a few years I may even open up a Indy shop myself. I'll just wait for Game to finally go.
Many years ago ( nearly 20 years ago now) I worked for Gamestation, before it was bought by Blockbuster then Game. We all knew our stuff about games and the industry as a whole. A relaxed atmosphere was always encouraged. People loved shopping there. We would have regulars come in just for a chat and It was a lot of fun. A lot of the those regulars became friends. It's really not difficult for Game to adopt that attitude but unfortunately Games motto is grab the money, screw the customers. I don't want to sound harsh but I won't be sad when game goes from the high street once and for all. As has already been mentioned, independent shops will pop up all over the country.
Oh my god this news has come from totally out of nowhere. I'm sure everyone is shocked as it's not something we all predicted would happen, oh hang on!! I'm glad it's finally happening as I've been wanting to play it again but no way was I going to be buying unlimited warfare or whatever it was called.
@SegaBlueSky I paid £79 for an import starfox on the snes, and if I remember rightly street fighter was £60. Plus I was in my last couple of years at high school so that was a lot of money to save. So for me all these years later, £35 for games is great value.
If the new cod is going all sci fi as the rumours suggest, I've got zero interest in it. But I would buy it for modern warfare as that is such a great game. Surely though if they have remastered this, there must be a trilogy on the way. Would it have MP though or would it just be the campaign?
I can understand why a lot of people would feel angry about this as the ps4 isn't cheap, but out of interest, how many of you guys were either quite young or not around during the n64 days? The expansion pack for the n64 was hailed as a great little enhancement for it and you couldn't play certain games without it. Nobody complained. Granted it was an add on rather than a new console but it still essentially split the user base,
all 20 of us!
I'd like to see something like Medal of Honor underground. Back when the Medal of Honor games were good. That game was great, far better than all this futuristic crap
Im not a COD fanboy in any way shape or form, the last few I haven't even bothered with, but surely a MW trilogy remake is the way to go. MW and MW2 were two of the best games of that gen, MW3 not so much. But they would be great additions to the remake family. I'm tempted to dust off the old 360 to play those campaigns again, they were the muts hairy dangly bits. I can't stand all this futuristic fps poo, I don't want to strap on some w*nky exo suit and jump 50 miles in the air. I want the good old days of crawling around in the grass with my camo suit on in an old Ukrainian town. Much more fun.
I'd be more than happy with a new ridge racer, but only if they went back to basics without all the super woopy boosters and whatever else they have ruined the series with. A remake of RR type 4 would do me.
I'll go for number two. But only after drake has smashed her back doors in! Then they go on Jeremy Kyle because it turns out drake knew all along but didn't say nothing cos Lara has got a lovely set of fun bags and he is actually just a dirty old perv!

@ekreig They are. I'm sure he spends most of his time sitting in his office stroking his beard while practicing his evil laugh.

Isn't every single fifa game essentially a remaster?

Re: 2016 Is the Year of VR, Says Sony London Producer
They have got to get the details out this month if it's releasing by June/July. Otherwise people won't be ready to buy on its release

Re: Feature: How Many PSX 2015 Predictions Did the Push Square Community Get Right?
I was sure we would get some release info on VR. Sony are going to be cutting it close if they still want to release in the first half of 2016.
Re: Project Morpheus Will Change the PS4 Game Prior to June 2016
@Cowboysfan-22 I understand where your coming from but how many ps3's were sold and how many move's were sold? PS Move died on its arse pretty quickly
