Sure comparing the 700 millions of games sold on a pc store with the little numbers of piracy is ridiculous, you are right.
And in fact the over 160 millions of monthly active players of steam are ignoring sony games.
Like i said this is the numbers, this is the reality only because you can't accept, doesn't mean the situation change.
And now a little question, why are so "informed" on numbers of piracy of pc, i start to have a doubt, maybe you are confusing your personal experience with reality?
This is what official numbers given by Sony say, only a minimal part of playstation users buy playstation first party exclusives, nothing compared to the attach rate of nintendo first party exclusives.
And pc players aren't really interested in general in standard tps/third person action or ubisoft style open world.
The fact is majority of players which buy playstation, not buy first party exclusives, so no they can't be called system seller, is only a biased opinion based on nothing.
The real system seller for playstation are gta, cod, fifa, fortnite and similar games.
Sony give us official numbers about this and i think is alot more trustable of anything else or you not trust Sony?
You understand steam is over 160 millions of active players monthly?
The litte numbers of players stay on this sites isn't really relevant.
Specially if you think Steam is estimated to have done 16 billions of sales of videogames, dlc and microtransations in 2025 and in 2024 have sold over 700 millions of games with 10 billions of money generated.
With this numbers piracy is a drop in the ocean.
The reality is playstation exclusive have little attractive on pc players and considered the low quality of gameplay is normal.
Sorry to break your bubble but playstation exclusive are largely ignored by pc players, majority not even known them was on steam and very little have buyed them.
The reality is playstation exclusive aren't really something pc players are interested and is really normal considered the typology of games and the standardized gameplay which on pc isn't enough to sold good if you aren't really famous.

If you can't accept piracy isn't anymore a real problem of pc for years is your problems.
Reality say Steam can sold double of game are sold on playstation, so piracy isn't a real problem.
I think you must to accept pc players aren't interested in standard third person action/tps and ubisoft open world playstation first party offer.

There is a big difference between Nintendo consoles and playstation.
On nintendo console exclusive first party are system seller and have very high attach rate.
On playstation instead exclusive first party aren't system seller in fact the attach rate is low.

The official numbers Sony give to us say is not true, the exclusive only represent a minimal part of the videogames sold on ps4+ps5.
And even on pc very little players are interested in playstation exclusive.
