@rastamadeus fanboy glasses? I OWN a xbox1!!!! I was just dissapointed with their showing. What unexpcted footage/ announcement was there besides the excellent value Halo1-4 reboots and cgi scalebound? They showed plenty of games that i already knew about. Most of the gameplay demos were for multi platformers. I wanted to see HALO 5 gameplay!!

Sony have little to fear!! just watched the MS press conference live. It was the most underwhelming thing you could wish to see!! Halo1-4 reboots is all they have!! Sony should win E3 with room to spare, after watching MS poor efffort.

Transistor and watch dogs you cant compare, Id plump for transistor because (as has been said) its an indie. Graphics are lovely, But has anyone else noticed the alarming dips in the framerate on occasions? Every now an again transistors FPS chugs like hell!! Should not happen !!! especially in a game of this type.

The last of us had TONS of gameplay. It was action adventure, 3rd person shooter, steatlh game, survival horror, all rolled into one imo.

@MadchesterManc Im totally relaxed, I just think its farcical to suggest that TLOU is a "step backwards in terms of overall quality compared to Naughty dogs previous games"!

To put it bluntly , No it isnt.

It was awarded GOTY by over 200 sites and publications!!!

It won game of the YEAR by a MILE!! Beat everything !!(GTAV included) . Now i know its your opinion but ,to dismiss the game, as a step backwards like that , is just idiotic.

There are millions of people who would rate TLOU as one of the finest games they've ever played___

Also the stealth/cover system and close quarters combat, heck even the shooting system! Were much improved from any uncharted game IMO. If taking a "step backwards" results in the GAME of year, Then i for one, hope that Naughty dog go in full reverse with their future releases !!

@MadchesterManc the same "people " who worked on TLOU and are now working on Uncharted4, worked on Uncharted2 aswell, so i dont what ppl are worried about. Im made up the Uncharted 3 people have been moved/left/fired from the UC4 project!,as UC2 was a far better game than UC3.

As long as multi platform games are being made to run first and foremost on x360/ps3/low spec pc, then the ps4, xb1, and pc version maxed out, Are always going to suffer.

@ToOGoodOfAPlaya well m8 using underhand means in a bid to to avoid a certain hack, is cheating in my book! If he hadn't of unplugged i would have got the hack!! Simple as that!

My one complaint is online hacking... I hacked someone before got to 97 percent and He dissconnected, so i lost a certain hack and he wasnt punished for cheating!!

Everyone with a brain knew it was a sandbox 40hr plus game.

The "additional content" is there to be used by choice , u know?????. Have you played the story missions from start to finish already?

also whats the point of ubisoft taking 5years to make a sandbox open world game, Only to furnish it with few distractions?

I honestly cant believe some ppl, can moan about too much content!! FFS, ubisoft have provided a sandbox, thats worth every penny of what you payed for it! Which is more than can be said of most of games!

If you cant be arsed with side missions /distractions/mini games, Then DON'T DO THEM!!The game doesn't force you to partake, It merely gives you the option!

Too much is always better than too little. Unless of course You're a platinum trophy freak, which in that case, i suggest u get a life.

Anybody who Hasn't played Trine2 is in for a treat. Its a SUPERB game. Pity i downloaded it 3 months ago

I also think watch dogs graphics problems are down to poor optimization. Anybody who thinks that by bumping up the resolution from 900p to 1080p would turn a nice looking game into a jaw-dropping one, is very much mistaken IMO.

@Sutorcen there have been examples of great looking games so far. Killzone SF, the tomb raider reboot,infamous ss, and perhaps even Outlast IMO would all make the ps3 cry if it tried the run them at the same smoothness and graphical fidelity.I agree we need more though, eveyone wants 1080p 60 fps.I think naughty dog will be the first to really push the ps4's capabilities.

Compare it to infamous?.....Ok..

Watch dogs 900p 30fps= hugely populated open world, were each npc can be hacked. Each vehicle driven, you can enter buldings, shops, bars, restaurants etc, explore by land AND SEA. dynamic weather, and day/night cycle.

infamous 1080p 30fps= sparsely populated, sterile open world, little or no interaction with npc's, No buildings you can enter, you cant even TOUCH WATER or you respawn back on the street FFS!! No dynamic weather, no day/night cycles.

@Sutorcen who cares what the press say!! Im 7hrs into to watch dogs and I would rate a 9/10 so far . Are you saying that JUST because its not 1080p 60fps that people should score it 6 or 7 outta ten? Stop talking nonsense. Watch dogs has nice graphics and most importantly GREAT gameplay. The noticable difference between 900p and 1080p aint that big anyway. As ive said before RYSE on xbox1 is only 900p and its still the best looking nextgen game so far! Dont get wrapped up with 1080p too much m8, its all ppl talk about nowadays !!!!

@Sutorcen I know its your opinion m8, an ur quite entilted to it. But personally i think You're exagerating a wee bit! The graphics are nice Imo, the best? No, but nice all the same. In my version of WD,s the frame-rate is also rock solid, i aint seen any slowdown. This game deserves 9/10 all day long IMO.

@Mrskinner yeah i agree. WD's missions and side missions are much more varied and fleshed out than gta's. I still think gta is more fun on free roam mode though.

@Reverend_Skeeve yeah agreed m8. Best ps4 game yet. Out of interest how do you think WD's compares to GTA5?

@Reverend_Skeeve Yes infamous ss had better graphics, but when u consider that compared to watch dogs there was literally phuck all going on in seattle!! Then it evens it out IMO. Watch dogs Npc's also look better have far more detail and variation in appearance and the way they act. Over infamous . In that respect its watch dogs that "blows" infamous out the water!!! IMO. Infamous didnt even have a real time/dynamic weather system or day/night cycle, for christ sake. So its stunning graphics did not come without sacrifice!!

@KAPADO the graphics are sweet IMO. You cant expect open world games, to be quite a stunning as linear/restriced movement games. I bet the order 1886 for eg would not look half as good as it does, if it were a sandbox game. That E3 video that people keep harking back to, was just a tech demo before watch dogs was optimized.

Game is superb, better than gta IMO, my one gripe so far is... Online hacking mode isnt balanced at all. If ur the hacker the field of vision u have is far to great(even without using cameras) its far to easy to simply watch the person ur hacking frantically run by, as u skirt/hide around the same car with ease!! Hacking mode favours the hacker far too much IMO

@Ginkgo yes mate We've only seen snippets so far. So maybe I'm being harsh. But you can only judge what you see right? My comparison with RYSE is because places so much emphasis on cinematic graphics/camera angles, that the gameplay, character movement ,had to be stripped down and gameplay became very linear and basic as a consequence. I hope E3 shows more variation in gameplay, cos i ( like everyone) am desperate for the order to be great!

@Ginkgo "the last of us did it" thats why is NOT innovative !!!! Thats my point, I've / We've seen it before . My interpretation of innovation is something "new" .Whats yours? Gameplay innovation is what im after. I've played Ryse on on xbox 1 which is still the best looking nextgen game to date, pure cinematic beauty,it didnt stop the gameplay from being tedious though...

@Gamer83 indeed. The ps4 now gets the best multi-platform games. But like you said, that wasn't the case with ps3! I remember one site giving the xbox360 version of BAYONETTA 9/10 and the same site gave the PS3 version a 6/10 !!!! Coz the PS3 version had game-breaking performance issues, ie- horrific slowdown.

So thats three people, getting a re-worked version for nothing!

I wish the person playing this game would have moved round the environment or even cover to cover a bit more!! He literally stood behind a wall shooting and then que the scripted moments.

@Savino yeah but the uncharted 's did at least, have some form of multi-player. To keep you entertained after you've finished the story. Which is more than can be said of certain upcoming games!!

Yeah but in uncharted you had the agility of an ape! Hanging/climbing , it also had some very thoughtfull puzzle elements as well as stealth sections, not to mention hand-to-hand combat. I dont see this gameplay variation from the order.....(YET). It is also wrong (IMO) to call the uncharted series "basic 3rd person shooters" infact you Couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway uncharted is a action adventure game, just like tomb raider is . Its not a pure cover shooter, like gears of war, spec ops the line and dare i say the order 1886 are !!

@N711 It should be about gameplay innovation, ya know? Making an age old genre, fresh and exiting ?. Not going from cut-scene to gameplay seamlessly ! Or laying pre-set plans/set pieces for a player to watch or play out. RYSE did that 6months ago, and it was still a dung experience!

Cant wait for this , love games with this sort of pacing/unfolding story.

gorgeous visuals, but alas i fear the gameplay MEH... maybe RYSE son of rome like...A visual treat, but using guns instead of swords. I see no innovation whatsoever in the brief gameplay . In the couple of gameplay clips I've seen so far, the action is almost corridor like linear .

@ErnisDy lol "What shooter is different" erm well you mention metro, the likes of destiny is still a fps such but it has many new features that make it a much fresher take on what metro is!!! There is room for some innovation on established game genres you know!! uncharted for eg has duck and cover shooting mechanics , but also has puzzles/exploration. I just hope the order doesnt end up being RYSE with guns, thats all.

Just seen 2.45 seconds of gameplay on kotaku looks stunning. Questions remain over the gameplay though!! It looked like, "clear this linear area of enemies, an then move on to the next area" hard to gauge tho, with the slithers of footage We've seen so far.

Can sombody please explain to me, why the PS4 is not compatible with the adobe flash player, and cant play 60percent of videos? This is the PS4 FFS!!! So annoying.

Drive club will be a good looking, fun racer. But like a few of the lads have said already. I agree Its got a 7/10 written all over it.
