Integrating technology into a device is great but at some point I start to become concerned with the price of the device. For example, I love the switch pro controller but wasn’t to thrilled to pay $80 out the gate (there were cheaper wired options available but not much of a middle ground). Very happy paying $60 for additional controllers.
So series x is 2.4gb a second and PS5 is 5.5gb a second. Sounds like we are talking about the difference of 1-2 second load in times compared to a 1 or half a second. I did like the example of jak that Cerny gave with the corridors and level design shaped around loading in the next environment.Game designers have used dialogue to cover up load times also, just what ever it takes to not break immersion. Im excited to see how games utilize ssd in consoles but game designers have gotten very good at covering up loading (a lot of time to the games benefit with the case of exposition and character expansion) and im not sure how much of a difference there will be between the two pieces of hardware.
impressive showing but I think they focused on sound quality a bit heavy. just something that doesn’t appeal to me but hey, if sony can set up some booths somewhere that I can test the difference in quality, i could be swayed. As always for me, it will come down to games and subscription incentives to make my mind up.

I already have 20 gadgets listening in on all my conversations and activities what’s another one gonna hurt.
Re: Poll: Does PS5's Teraflop Disadvantage Matter to You?
So where’s the “yes, but I also care about games.” Answer? Why is it an either or?
