7 years is way long enough to be updating any kind of tech- At £449 PS5 was a superb buy for what it was- PS1 was £300 at launch ! ....Most people that complain are likely those that hand Apple £1300 every 2 years for what's more or less the same phone a cheap £100 shanner brand could easily replicate..... I cannot wait for the latest console/PS6, it's better tech, future proof and plays all your current library day one, why wouldn't you. At £600 it would be cheap given the new tech, innovation and factoring in inflation against previous Playstation launch prices.
