Earlier build? Are you kidding? Did you not see the timestamps at the bottom of those clips? They ranged from Jan 2020 to April 2020. They were from the final build. This is the game that was set to launch this very month.

I could not care less who leaked the material. Does Sony and ND really think that matters? How would it matter in the least if some hackers did it as opposed to some disgruntled employee?

What matters is the content and the material which is alienating and pissing off quite a few Last of Us fans. I swore quite a while ago never to pre-order a game again after being burned several times by shoddy releases. So, I had no pre-order to cancel but I was planning on buying the game and now I have to find something better to spend my money on.

Sheesh, Death Stranding is looking better and better now. Why not give a Walking Simulator a chance over this tripe. Thank you, whoever you are, for leaking this stuff! I love you!

@Tha_Likely_Lad Problem is that's just an excuse. We're not in an apocalypse now and we're having the SJWs shove their agenda down our throats wherever we turn.

What was great about the first game was its subtlety. Now we're getting hammered over the head with it because they were afraid to offend a very small minority. Their solution was to focus on solely them and cater to them at every turn and to just spit in the face of everyone else.

@Netret0120 If they're relying solely on the gay and trans community for those sales, good luck to them. They are such a minority to begin with, one has to wonder just how many of them are avid gamers.

As for the rest of us, and speaking for myself as a straight male married to a straight female, I have viewed the leaked material and I felt very uncomfortable at how all of the females, even the straight ones, were portrayed as butch as possible so as to not offend any possible trans gamers.

I just wish Naughty Dog would stop for one minute and consider how they're offending just about everyone else by solely focusing on the gay and trans community. Well, at least I won't be wasting my money on this game so I'm grateful for the leaked material.

This game will be an unmitigated disaster. CDPR does not know how to program games. And this one has been started, stopped, started again, completely scrapped and started two more times to get to this point.

There will be no multiplayer on launch because they finally had to contract a third party studio to do it for them because they couldn't get it to work. As late as last year, they were still working on the "content" for the game while having the framework in place.

They initially were pushing to get the game out last year when devs insisted it was nowhere near ready for release. And now we're seeing definite signs that 2020 may not be the year either as it is still lacking many features and that it simply will not be ready for a release in a few months' time.

Tons of pre-release sales of the game just because Keanu Reeves did some mo-cap for it when it's already clear that in-game cutscenes will have his character look nothing like him while playing the game.

Why the hell does the world still believe in this company???

In an alternate universe, I'd be gender fluid and really looking forward to this game. Alas, I live in this universe where I'm solidly heterosexual and therefore have lost all interest in the game. I'll just go back and replay The Last of Us and even Left Behind where it wasn't shoved down my throat.

@manu0 Yet that's exactly what happened with The Witcher 3. Nearly 30GB of patches over the course of a full year and it's still declared a masterpiece and perfect and the best game of a generation. Why is that? Especially when most people admit they need to run at least 30+ mods just to get the game to a state where they can stand playing it.

Fallout 76 was a turd, mainly because of its focus. Yes, it is and was full of bugs and glitches and no real sense of direction whatsoever. But also because it had no real content either. It was an open sandbox game that depended on friends playing together to create their own adventures and even then, still offered little actual content that made it worth the effort.

But the majority of people said, "cool, let's see it when it comes out and play it anyway." Why? A lot of people were screaming about how the idea sounded like a bad one from the start. Todd just went with the flow believing he could pull off enough of a win to justify the mess and people did buy into it. Why doesn't anyone ever learn a damn thing from these disasters and why do we expect the gaming companies to learn when the majority of gamers refuse to?

Yeah, you can climb that mountain. You can even put a ladder across it horizontally. It'll be fine, no matter how silly it looks.

No, it's not a stealth game. It's a Hiking Simulator. Also, it's one of the most overhyped games (right after Cyberpunk 2077) ever created. We know next to nothing about both games and only fools should fall for that sort of nonsense in this day and age.

Jeez, all they said was that they would be at Gamescon. They said nothing about bringing a new demo or that it would be public this time. Way to speculate like crazy.

Last year, CDPR were at Gamescon. They sponsored a Gwent tournament which they organized. So poorly, in fact, that the top three contenders didn't even make it to the convention thanks to a screw up on CDPR's end and the flight booking.

The tournament got zero press coverage. Where were you guys? Why didn't you cover it, since you're so enamored of all things CDPR?
