@Dr_ENT The 92 million console base didn't mean much in saving Bluepoint, or helping Marathon or Saros, or even Concord. Heck even Xbox's own games like Avowed and Outer World 2 still undersold and they released on ps5.
Even during the ps4 era saw the closure of Sony's own Japan Studio, and the unfortunate (and early) cutoff of support for Dreams (which MM could easily be shuttered if they can't meet expectations for their next game).
People need to face reality that the gaming specter is in a pretty rocky place post-covid boom, and regardless of the brand are at risk of closures and layoffs.
