Between TWEWY, NEO: TWEWY, and Tokyo Mirage Sessions, I feel like I could make my way around that map no problem. It's always cool to see how well recreated real areas are recreated in games
I played the original on PSP and just could not get into it/didn't grab me. I finished it, and then promptly sold it - which sucks, because the series has the hallmarks of everything I should love in a JRPG.
Despite knowing all that, I'm so tempted to try this again, but know I really shouldn't/don't have the time to get back into yet another JRPG haha
@Areus yep. That also heavily killed my desire for it too. It's not like I've sworn off the series as a whole, but it's definitely tempered my interest in getting some of these games immediately (and special editions) if this is the path they are going to go down from here on out
I usually devour Ys games as soon as they come out (super special editions and everything) - but I struggled so much to get into X - I just couldn't click with the constant switching mechanic. I'm barely into the game (I basically just unlocked the true(ish) freeroam), but the minute they announced Proud Nordics I put the game down and haven't played since.
I know I'm part of the problem because I'll buy P.N. when it comes out (probably not the special edition if there is one), but I saw no point in playing the base version when there's going to be this new one coming out anyways. My backlog is big enough as is, I might as well wait until this comes out and finish other games off first
