Reading this editorial, I was wondering: "Was this that DB game that had Pan, and the chibi characters?".

Then I watched the clip, and it all came back to me, lol. I played this game to bits back in the day, mostly with Pan. I was obsessed with the GT characters and the ones I didn't know already, because the show wasn't broadcasted that far yet. I remember that you could level the characters, and I was completely obsessed with it. Mostly playing with Pan, for some reason.

100's of hours, it must have been. Good times, yeh.

Nice review. Question; are the playable characters all available right from the start? Or did they make it more fun, by requiring players to unlock (some of) them through ingame progression? 😙

For me, this is the game I'm most excited about in years. The 1st game was the first game I ever got, on the first console I ever got when I was 10 y/o. As a 10-11 year old kid, I of course did not have the possibility to buy Crash 2 and later Crash 3. There were kids in primary school that I could borrow it from, but this was always only for like 1 or 2 days tops. So I never got really far, because.. you know, the game is punishing, lol. Crash 1 has been re-released several times more recently (Sony Xperia Play, anyone?). But I never got around to play Crash 2 and 3, and have been wanting to do so for ages ever since I was a kid. And now I finally can. I'm so excited.

Oh and, holy moly, Crash 1 is punishing. It's all coming back to me now. Back in the day it kept me occupied for over a year, haha.

Looks awesome. Haven't played any of the earlier games though. Curious, is this a game you can play without having played the earlier games? Or are you majorly missing out on the story, etc?

No interest, I already own and played all of them when they originally came out. Even the ones not included in this trilogy. The other new game they just announced is way more interesting, imho.

Good for them. Xbox One and (future) Switch owners deserve to have some games on their consoles as well.. There's no need for PS4 owners to hog it all for themselves.. Share! 💙

Just trolling. In all seriousness though, the more the better (in this case). The better it sells, the higher the chances of a CTR remake (or new game!) are.

I am hyped. Very much so. To the point where I decided to buy a PS4 just for that. Well not exactly (because there's so many great games), but let's just say it was the winning argument when I was still doubting if I would. The moment this got announced, there was nog longer any doubt.

I haven't pre-orderd it yet though. I kinda assumed they might announce some kind of special edition or limited edition too, at some point. Do you guys think there will be one? 😊
