Square Enix has just published a new trailer for the ever elusive Kingdom Hearts III, which you can view below:
The trailer features Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they help Hercules in battles against the Heartless atop Mount Olympus.
The game itself won't be appearing at any E3 conferences or on the show floor itself, but it has been confirmed that a new world and another trailer will be debuted at the Disney D23 event on 15th July.
Who knows when we'll finally get our hands on Kingdom Hearts III? Your guess is as good as ours, but let us know what you think to this new footage in the comments below.

Love love love this. Will this actually be worth the wait? I'm also really excited about the prospect of not waiting a year for the next trailer
I predict it's gonna get announced for Spring 2018, then gets delayed to Fall. But super hyped for this trailer!!!
Looks brilliant i cannot wait to play it. 2018 i reckon it'll release towards October-ish.
Looks awesome. Haven't played any of the earlier games though. Curious, is this a game you can play without having played the earlier games? Or are you majorly missing out on the story, etc?
At this point I think we just need a release date, can't be too many people who either don't know about this or are on the fence.
@Aryx get the 1.5+2.5 collection on PS4. Play kh1, kh2, and kh: birth by sleep. Then get kh 2.8 final chapter prologue and play/watch everything on there. And that's the most important parts.
Don't play kingdom hearts 3 without these
Nice, the gameplay, graphics, and music looks great
Also, hades japanese voice is great
@rjejr I mean, this sort of renewed my faith in it. If it's coming out in 2018, they really need to announce it in the trailer next month just so people don't believe it's 2020.
@ZurapiiYohane honestly, just the main games I listed are needed. I'm actually surprised, but I'm playing through dream drop distance for the first time and I'm impressed with how well they are explaining the plot points of the minor games within this one.
@ztpayne7
I have always been told CoM is super important storywise, specially to understand 2. I am actually playing through that one, going in order through 1.5 and 2.5, later on I will get 2.8
@sinalefa yeah it does explain who certain characters are and how Sora ended up in the state he was in at the start of KHII
It's beautiful! I'm not a huge fan of Shotlock (playing BBS right now), but I like the addition of the power forms (?). Hope this doesn't mean the end of drive forms, but I suspect it will.
@Aryx You really do have to play all of them or at least watch the cutscenes. Like the others have suggested KH 1.5 + 2.5 & 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue are the easiest way to experience the series.
Also Chain of Memories is vital. Its the true Kingdom Hearts 1.5 .
OOOOMMMMGGGGGGG FINALLY
About the Chain of Memories discussion... Yeah, it is important to the story. But it's a very divisive game, some people hate the gameplay, some don't. If you can't put up with the game, just google the story.
i think it will coming 2018
Pretty awesome. More KH news is always a plus.
@Tulio517 @Fight_Teza_Fight @sinalefa I just feel like I didn't miss out on anything from chain of memories. I feel like 2 does a great job of summarizing what happened in chain of memories and dream drop distance (at least the hd version via flashbacks or info sections) fills in the gaps for all the spinoffs except birth by sleep.
@ztpayne7 I agree. KH2 explains it well enough. I hate CoM lol, never finished it. But I did watch the cutscenes
The KH series is one of my top fav . Been waiting for this game since 2006 after 2 came out . lol I'm 25 now
I won't be getting a PS4 until 2019 at the earliest so this'll be a day one purchase "as in the day I purchase my PS4" without a doubt!
@oatmealwarrior92 2006? I could have sworn KH2 was released in either 2004 or 2005...o.0
@Reanfan7 came out in America in 2006
Wow, I didn't realize I was 19 when the game was released in NA...makes me feel old.
I'm not holding my hopes very high on Square giving a release date next month when they show the next trailer.
The game looks nice, but I'm starting to lose hype due to the lack of a release date.
I think my grandchildren will love playing this when it comes out 😂😂
@ZurapiiYohane That we can! Lol
Looking great.
Hopefully the game will release autumn 2018
