The demo on Steam is out now and great fun. Love the art work and the gameplay has a satisfying loop to it.

I’ve been enjoying this, but I disagree with the comment about the freezing/ice guns not being any good. I find them useful. If you shoot any enemies with their jet packs going, they freeze mid air and fall to the ground and shatter. The other advantage is by freezing enemies is they stop shooting at you and thirdly, all frozen enemies can be smashed to pieces with one melee hit when frozen.

Nice. I’ve been looking forward to having a go at this one. I love the simplicity in the design.

I thoroughly enjoyed the beta. Had a couple of mates jump in for some races. There were heaps of people online when we were playing. It was crazy to wingsuit down a mountain side and see all of the riders and skiers fly down various tracks. Definitely keen for this one.

@BrintaPap - yeah, the disc has almost become a full time coaster. It is working ok on my PS4 pro though. It is very frustrating - but I’ve moved on.

@Ward_ting - I agree, I can understand that a demo wants to show your more of the mechanics of the game than at the start - but at least it gives you bit of an idea. I enjoyed the demo and am looking forward to reviews of the game. I’ll probably wait for a sale though.

@BrintaPap - I tried installing it on my PS5 a week ago. I downloaded all of the download components, texture packs, MP, Campaign, Spec Ops - everything and it still wouldn't run. I deleted it and tried again two more times, still can't play it on my PS5. I have the disc version, my buddy owns it digitally and his worked fine. I won't be buying Vanguard as the way they have tried to integrate the 3 games into one menu annoys me. Plus the file size is reportedly almost 200Gb...

@Ward_ting - there is a demo available on the store if you haven't checked that out yet. Doesn't have a heap of dialogue in it, but there are 'skits' in which the characters back stories are revealed during certain parts of the demo. If you are interested, I recommend checking it out.

I think I'll just wait for the snowrunner Ps5 upgrade...

@Mergatro1d - You can also play on a private setting - I’ve played a few runs with 1 online mate and 2 bots to help out - saves playing with randoms).

@KnightRider1982 - there is an option on he menu in the beta for Solo Campaign. At the moment it is grayed out and not selectable but looks like it will be in the full game.

Is it as much fun as snowrunner?
If so, then I could be tempted to give it a go.

A great online co-op game - I highly recommend you check it out. It is also good fun solo as well.

I recommend giving it a go. It feels like unreal tournament crossed with portal. I like it. Not sure of its longevity but with cross play it has a lot of potential.

I recently picked up snowrunner for the PS4 and have been playing it on the ps5. Can’t believe that I am now addicted to this game. Great fun.
