Arguably the biggest surprise of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation's full reveal back in June was the confirmation of a job system, allowing players to customise Cloud and co. to better suit their needs on the battlefield.
But we didn't learn all that much about said system. All we got was a brief explanation of 'FITS' — Function Integrated Tactical Suitwear, obviously — and footage showing how you'll be able to turn Tifa into a magic-wielding sorceress.
Fortunately, GamesRadar have done some digging. During an interview, director Naoki Hamaguchi reveals that Revelation's job system is actually fairly streamlined; if you were hoping for a branching system that incorporates all kinds of crazy character classes, it sounds like you better temper your expectations.

Hamaguchi confirms: "The FITS system has four different outfits for each character, and each of those is quite a defined role."
He then clarifies: "Even though we only have four FITS, we have a lot of characters, so it was quite a lot of work."
Based on these quotes, it's unclear whether different party members will have access to different jobs. For example, are the warrior and mage jobs we saw in the reveal trailer two of the four jobs available to everyone?
If there are more than four jobs split across the full party — that's eight characters if we're going by the original Final Fantasy 7 — then that seems fairly in-depth. But again, the details are murky right now.
