BeastLink Dev Giving Itself More Time to Tighten Up PS5 Frame Rate 1

BeastLink is one of those games, like the EDF franchise, where you almost want to see its frame rate tank.

Nevertheless, dev Grove Street Games – controversially of GTA Trilogy fame – is giving itself a little more time to smooth out performance on PS5.

The game will launch in PC Early Access from 18th August, but this new PlayStation specific trailer has no date. It simply says the game is “coming soon”.

For those who don’t know, this is a wildly ambitious online action game where humans will face off against giant kaiju in destructible cities. I can almost hear my PS5 Pro’s CPU groaning from here.

There will be solo modes for those who want them, but the 32-player online matches will likely be the star of the show.

And yes, you’ll be able to commandeer the kaiju at key points during battles, each with unique abilities and powers.

I think this looks kinda cool personally, but as I’ve mentioned throughout, I’m not sure how smoothly it’s going to run.

Nevertheless, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the PC Early Access, and I’ll be keen to see how this performs on PS5 once it eventually arrives.
