It feels like TT Games is making all the right calls with its upcoming title LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.

From the initial announcement, it's always looked like a very smart way to evolve the series; the team has basically thrown as much into it as possible, but done so in a way that feels cohesive.

A perfect example is the newly unveiled Batcave which, in this game, is fully customisable and will grow and change as you progress through the adventure.

It'll begin in a relatively humble state, but as the game goes on, you'll be able to upgrade and expand the space, turning it into the high tech base fans know and love.

What's more, you'll be able to customise it with not only fun props and decorations, but also whole areas, like an American diner, a library, or a command centre.

It also features a grand display of all Batman's various costumes for you to browse, and you'll be able to collect various trophies based on villains that'll feature in the Batcave.

Your collection of Batmobiles and Batcycles will have a space in this area as well.

The PS Blog post also talks about the gadgets that Batman and the other playable characters can use, pointing out they can be upgraded throughout the game to expand their capabilities. You can then test them out in the Batcave by setting up your own training grounds.

It sounds great, and we're looking forward to diving in.
