Capcom's Latest Street Fighter 6 Reveal Is Straight-Up Trolling Fans 1

Capcom has announced a new Fighting Pass for its eternally popular brawler Street Fighter 6, but it’s proving brutal for fans.

While the publisher promised to improve these periodic Battle Passes with more meaningful content, the artwork for this one is a straight-up troll.

It prominently shows characters like R. Mika and Ibuki, neither of which are even playable in the game.

Meanwhile, the cast are kitted out in cool sports-inspired outfits – none of which are available in the title either, aside from Terry Bogard’s street basketball-style Outfit 3.

The Fighting Pass itself does include some new EX Colors for Rashid and E. Honda, as well as some avatar customisation items and in-game stickers.

You’ll also get one of this author’s personal favourite arcade classics, Capcom Sports Club. So, that’s cool.

But using artwork featuring characters that aren’t even in the game seems cruel, and not announcing any new sports-themed outfits to go with this update is just rubbing salt in the wounds.

Like one fan wrote on YouTube: “Something is wrong inside the Street Fighter 6 development team.”
