It’s taken a long time to reach this point, but 2XKO will finally get its full PS5 release next week, from 20th January.
And as previously announced, Riot will be kicking off Season 1 with the addition of Caitlyn, the so-called Sheriff of Piltover.
As you’d expect, she relies on her sniper rifle to keep enemies at bay, although for balance purposes her bullets take a little time to cross the screen, and can be evaded.
In addition to her rifle – which can be fired in a multitude of different directions – she also has a couple of traps, including a net which temporarily ties up foes, opening them up to combos.

Her supers include a single devastating shot, as well as a shield which crosses the screen and clearly seems to be inspired by Urien’s Aegis Reflector in the Street Fighter series.
There’s been a bit of disappointment aimed at Caitlyn’s design, but we’re not huge League of Legends fans so we think she looks fine. We’re not 100% sure about the zoner focused gameplay yet, however.
