PS Plus Essential's monthly games for November 2025 are available to claim and download now, but one of them is a little more confusing than you might think.
EA Sports WRC is one of the titles members can redeem this month, and it's in a fairly unique situation that means you might end up downloading and playing an older iteration.
To explain, EA Sports WRC launched in 2023, but received a major update and DLC that brought it up to date with the 2024 season.
What this means is that, when you claim the game from PS Store, there are actually two SKUs added to your library. One is the older version of the rally racing title, and the other is the updated 24 version.
Downloading the latter version nets you the more complete and more up-to-date EA Sports WRC, essentially including a bunch of DLC that you'd otherwise have to buy.
So, if you're planning to play this PS Plus title, make sure you're downloading the one that includes the 2024 content.

Thanks for the heads up, Im likely to download this tonight!
Good call. Thanks for the heads up!
I dont see two options?
And make sure you have at least 113GB of space!
Played to see if I liked it, I did. Will now wait for it at a reasonable price on steam so I can play on PSVR2...
and when you play on streaming ?
which one is launched
I rather don't touch it at all ...maybe it'll disappear in month or so...
@Titntin enjoy..
I already claimed it through the phone app and saw two options, but it didn’t specify which is which on the phone. (Just said “game” and “game”). I’ll double-check again on the PS before I actually download. Thanks PushSquare!
I didn't bother searching about the 2 same game options so chances are i lost again.
Both are downloadable , both named “GAME”. Both 114 Gb. No difference between them so I had no idea which one to download. After the download I checked and there are 3 DLC packs added to the game so I think I made the right choice.
