SNK has really been cranking out Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ first season of content, which was effectively included for free with all copies of the PS5 and PS4 fighter.
Hot on the heels of Chun-Li’s addition recently, it’s announced that Art of Fighting’s Mr. Big will join the roster from 9th December. You can catch him in action courtesy of the trailer embedded below.
Here’s the official blurb from the press release:
“Ruthless ruler of Port Town. With the late Geese Howard long gone, he now aims to take South Town for himself – and, with Rock’s sickly mother under his watchful eye, no blood relation or rival power player can do a thing about it. Though the years have grayed him, the name ‘Big’ retains its lethal luster; indeed, all who dare underestimate this boss of a man still earn themselves a one-way ticket to a very unhappy end.”
As with all these character additions, you’ll be able to take Mr. Big into both the Arcade and RPG-inspired Episodes of South Town modes in order to experience his story. And he’ll, of course, be playable online and in local multiplayer.
It’ll be interesting to see whether SNK lines up another season of content or calls it a day at this point. Despite a positive critical reception, the new Fatal Fury hasn’t exactly lit up the sales charts.
