Shift Up may not be done with making new Stellar Blade content just yet, as the Korean developer has put out a teasing post this evening that seems to hint at upcoming horror-themed DLC.
With the caption "In one week...", the studio posted the following:
Next Thursday marks the release of Silent Hill F, which could suggest Stellar Blade is coming out with some sort of collaboration with the Konami survival horror franchise. The hallway in the image certainly looks like a place you would find in Silent Hill, and on the ground to the left, it looks like a flower is blooming. Flowers play a large part in the visual design of Silent Hill F, so there's likely a connection there.

The comments from the silent hill guys about F not being a soulslike would be pretty funny if it got a collab with a soulslike the day it releases.
I do wonder if this even is silent hill, they already released the whole "complete edition" with all the dlc, and so far all the licensed updates have been paid. Maybe an IP-free halloween update? Maybe a free silent hill dlc?? Maybe they just say screw it and add more paid dlc??? Not complaining either way.

Why?! Of all the collabs that can be done, why silent hill?! Nier automata, ninja gaiden, dead space, fatal frame, hell, even Luto or freaking Tony hawk. Why silent hill? Please don’t let this be a silent hill collab. It’s always 3 steps forward two steps back with silent hill. (Save for SH2 remake, it’s absolutely amazing)

@ChromaticDracula Stellar Blade has already done a collab with Nier and Nikke, not sure if you know. I think with their art designers they could pull off some "sexy" Silent Hill outfits.
I hope it's a free DLC since game has its own "Complete Edition" which I am planning to buy.
@ButWhy they have released a whole bunch of cosmetics that were completely free. The Nier DLC cost money, but that was kind of to be expected given it's a collab with an IP they don't own (and owned by SE at that). The Nikke DLC was their own IP but that at least contained another boss battle and some side quests as well.
Honestly this game and dev has been fantastic in terms of providing free content.
@Oram77 I wasn’t aware of the Nier collab! That makes sense… I thought about sexy nurses too but it seems too performative for my tastes. Silent hill I kind of hold on a pedestal if you can’t tell lol
That picture looks like a location from Slitterhead.
But that game wasn't well received so doubt it'll be that.
Shame as it wasn't actually that bad but they played down the horror which didn't do it any favours. It came across like the manga Parasyte if anything.
