Update []:
You can still get the unedited Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls gameplay below, but if you're looking for some more high-level play with commentary, then we're also including this Maximilian Dood video, which has some fantastic gameplay footage in it.
Original Story: Well, here’s what we’ve all been waiting for: unedited, uninterrupted Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls gameplay.
This footage features pro players Shinkensou and Justin Wong, the latter of which is fairly famous for his Marvel vs. Capcom chops.
There’s an element of both players getting to grips with the game in this video – it’s still new, of course – but you can clearly see the potential. The stakes are especially high when both players have fully assembled teams and edge into the latter rounds of matches.
We’ve also just got to mention the presentation here: the art style is honestly impeccable, and even the soundtrack is superb. It’s no surprise coming from Arc System Works, of course, but this game just draws you in with its colours and animations.
If you’re still not up-to-date on the gameplay, then remember to check out the overview that Sony published recently.
The feedback from these pro-tier players has been excellent so far, by the way, so it looks like Marvel Tokon is going to make the grade with enthusiasts.
Here’s hoping for some exciting character announcements at Evo on Sunday.
