Bandai Namco's released a new story trailer for Digimon Story Time Stranger ahead of the RPG's release on the 2nd October, and we think it really hammers home the fact that this is a Digimon game with... well, an actual budget for once.

Don't get us wrong, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is a rock solid Digimon title and that clearly didn't have a huge budget to work with, but as we keep saying, Time Stranger's overall leap in terms of scope and visuals is blatantly obvious.

As for the trailer itself, it's got us thinking that the game's plot is going to be more in-depth than we initially thought. The narrative seems to revolve around the mysterious Aeigiomon and his human ally Inori, as your own character tries to keep the titular time anomalies in check.

We're crossing all of our fingers that Digimon Story Time Stranger lives up to expectations, but what are your thoughts on this RPG so far? Try not to doom every timeline in the comments section below.
