Publisher Thunderful has announced Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf, a direct sequel to the beloved side-scrolling adventure.
The game picks up where the first one left off, Lana and Mui continue to explore their homeworld of Novo in the aftermath of the robot invasion.
Apparently, the sequel "doubles the size and scope" of the original title, making it a fairly sizeable game.
We don't really know much more than that; it looks lovely, and we're confident Children of the Leaf will be just as good as the first game.

First game was stunning and I mostly enjoyed it… but the gameplay was also basic AF. Hopefully they have improved that considerably.
It literally looks like the first game and you couldn't tell the difference if I showed you without prior knowledge.
Brilliant game. Glad to see the sequel is releasing day one on PS5
