It's one of our favourite traditions — whenever a PS Studios game reaches launch day, every other team under Sony's umbrella celebrates with bespoke artwork, sharing them on social media.
This time, it's the turn of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach to get some love, with several of Sony's studios spreading the cheer for XDEV and Kojima Productions.
First up is Housemarque, which has depicted Sam Porter Bridges sharing a cryptobiote cupcake with the protagonist of Saros, Arjun Devraj.
Santa Monica Studio has contributed with a piece in its usual style, showing Kratos and Atreus introducing Mimir to Sam's belt-bound buddy, Dollman.
Next up is an art piece from Guerrilla Games, with Aloy mingling with the cast of DS2. Guerrilla and Kojima Productions share a bond after the former gave the latter access to the Decima engine, which powers both Death Stranding games.
Then there's this awesome piece from Sucker Punch Productions, which features antagonist Higgs jamming alongside Ghost of Yotei's Atsu.
A third party player has also joined in the fun too; 11bit Studios has contributed some artwork as well, showing Jan Dolski from The Alters trading snacks with Sam.
We'll add any others we spot to this article.
It's all marketing fluff, really, but we get some really cool artwork out of it, so we've no problem with the tradition.
