I loved the trailer's imagery and I think Ryūkishi07 is a good get. But Neobards Entertainment's involvement makes me very skeptical of this project. Prove me wrong!

I really hope this is another W for the Silent Hill franchise 🤞🏻 After the immaculate Silent Hill 2 remake, we can forget about the other silly side projects that released recently and look forward to another mainline entry. Let's hope that we'll all need new underwear for Silent Hill f 😬

Hopefully they'll announce a real title for this, rather than just slapping a random letter on the end. Its just too edgy and cool for me

@YOLOsapien Can I not be very skeptical of a port and support studio that has never made an original game in their entire history working on the next original entry in an iconic horror series? Like I said in the original comment, I LOVED the trailer's imagery. I clearly want the game overall to live up to the cool stuff I saw in the trailer and I'm more than happy to be proven wrong. But healthy skepticism is a perfectly normal way to respond to a project like this. Skepticism does not equal pessimism or cynicism.

Also, everyone who was very skeptical of Bloober Team remaking SH2 (including me) had every right to feel that way given Bloober's past work. SH2 Remake being very good does not negate the warranted and healthy skepticism that came before.

I’m quite skeptical with this, but I’m hoping it turns out great. Silent Hill 2 Remake did a great job introducing newcomers to the franchise, so right now the series is sitting in a positive light. Hopefully this will continue to trend in the same direction!

I'm not familiar with Neobards track record outside they worked on DMC HD Collection, RE Origins Collection, RE Resistance, and RE Re-Verse. So i'm curious what Neobards can do with Silent Hill IP...

@RBMango Agreed, looking at this developer's portfolio it is very worrisome. I hope I'm wrong as well because the trailer made me really excited for it.

I really REEEEEEALLY hope this is good one of my favourite things in the world is J-Horror and I need more J-Horror games. Sony and Tecmo aren't gonna be making any Sirens or Project Zeros anytime soon so I really need this to deliver 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Silent Hill 2 Remake was unexpectedly amazing. However, SHf is looks absolutely nothing like a Silent Hill game. They describe it as a beautiful but horror filled game and that tracks when looking at the art for it. And it could potentially take the series in a whole new and exciting direction. But seeing as most previous Silent Hill efforts made post Team Silent era are dreadful, seeing as even the recent labyrinthine sort of demo like thing The Short Message was forgettable... I'm not hopeful at all.

At present I would much rather have Bloober remaking the original Silent Hill. That has me a lot more excited than SHf. But I guess we'll soon see if there's reasons to be excited for the new game.
