Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5

Footage of a new, live-action advert for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been captured from an Australian TV channel. It was spotted on the ESPN network during an ad break for an A-League football game and shows Spider-Man capturing some criminals through the reports of a news network. The advert was first thought to be fake given it doesn't line up with any previous marketing blasts from Sony, but more Australian viewers have now come out to confirm it's real.

In fact, there's another advert that follows a similar structure for Horizon Forbidden West. You can check out the quick Marvel's Spider-Man 2 ad below.

What's important to note is the advert lists Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as a "Spring 2023" release. However, since Australia is part of the southern hemisphere, this translates to anywhere from September to December this year.

While it isn't in-game footage, this is the first marketing beat for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 we've seen from Sony since the PS5 exclusive's announcement in September 2021. As of right now, the game is still on track to be out at the end of this year. Is it your most anticipated PS5 game of 2023? Let us know in the comments below.
