PSVR2, much like the original PSVR headset, lends itself nicely to digital downloads. When you’ve got your face strapped in, it can be an inconvenience fumbling around for Blu-ray cases and disc slots. Nevertheless, plenty of people still prefer to own physical media, and that’s fine. As such, here’s our first look at the boxart for a PS5 game where virtual reality is required to play.
To be honest, there are no surprises on this cover for – deep breath – The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution - Payback Edition. While we can’t imagine the main artwork is final, the message beneath the PS5 banner is similar to the one Sony used for the PS4: there’s a small headset icon and a short sentence pointing out that PSVR2 is required.
We imagine most major PSVR2 games will eventually get retail releases, although the medium really does lend itself well to digital. We should add, this retail version of Saints & Sinners 2 includes a bunch of in-game bonuses, including weapon recipes, which will surely come in useful when you’re trying to see off an unstoppable horde of undead.

It's not the most eye-catching design ever. Not nearly as obvious as the PS4 design.
I’m waiting for the compilation. Hopefully that comes as a physical disc too.
Shouldn't be as big a problem putting discs in now the headset has a passthrough camera...plus picking up drinks and leaning on 'real' tables instead of falling flat on your face leaning on a VR table🤣🤣 Very excited for psvr2!

@Uncharted2007 I've pre-ordered and am hyped beyond belief for VR2, but I hear ya on the motion sickness thing. I would play VR1 for long periods and get splitting motion headaches and feel sick all day. Hoping the 4k OLED display will help with that, not to mention I've learned I need glasses since then. Lol
@invictus4000 Let us know how the new headset affects you. If you don't get those headaches anymore, odds are that I'll be safe from them. It'd be appreciated.
I most definitely want physical copies of my PSVR2 games when possible…According to Amazon US the release date is 25th April for Walking Dead…so not a launch game sadly. It isn’t listed for UK Amazon yet so I cannot preorder 🤨
Physical games rule......and they look nice placed in order on the shelf🤣
