Call Of Duty Warzone Pacific

Activision has delayed the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard Season One back to 8th December 2021, pushing back new maps, modes, and weapons for the World War II shooter by six days. This means the new Caldera map for Warzone has suffered the same fate, with 24 hours of early access for Vanguard owners now slated to begin on the aforementioned date. Everyone else will then be able to play from 9th December 2021.

The Warzone update will also contain new vehicles like aeroplanes and optional modes that prioritize Vanguard guns and items. Rebirth Island will be right alongside it so those who enjoy the smaller map and engagements can still do so.

The delay comes after a damning report was published by the Wall Street Journal which alleges CEO Bobby Kotick knew about the company's unacceptable working conditions for years. Employees staged a walkout, asking for Kotick to resign in response. PlayStation boss Jim Ryan also shared his "deep concern" for the situation at hand in an internal email. Bobby Kotick remains in office at the time of writing.
