There are still mysteries to solve in aquatic action RPG Maneater, and you’ll be embarking on a quest for truth when the title’s Site P DLC drops on 31st August for PlayStation 5 and PS4. As the trailer depicts, you’ll be swimming to a secret government facility, and utilising your shark-based superpowers to cause some damage.
“Maneater: Truth Quest takes players to a brand-new island off the coast of Port Clovis – and comes packed with new evolutions, challenges, wildlife, and more,” the press release explains. “Players will once again take control of the apex predator of the sea to Eat, Explore and Evolve their way to the top of the food chain.”
Fascinatingly, if you don’t buy the DLC – which will cost £12.99/$14.99 – you’ll be able to try out a 10-15 minute “pilot episode”, which will give you a taste of the new content before you commit to buying it. The full version will boost the level cap, incorporate new evolutions, and add extra wildlife and objective types.

Man-eater was good, silly fun. I'll def be picking this up!
Add yet another game between mid Aug and mid Sept thats a must buy. Broketober is coming early this year!
Game was alright. Platinumed it in around 16 hours. However, ps5 suffers from massive leakage in memory, which renders gameplay to become very stuttering and with time frame rate starts to tank to 10-15. Only way to fix it was to quit to main menu and reload the game, that would fix the framerate back to 60, but it would start dropping eventually and in next 25-30 mins would become same bad as it was. Weird how they didn't seem to patch it.
This was my summer popcorn game last year. I'll def throw em $15 and have another go, but this time on the PS5 version!
there is gonna be a complete edition at this point down the line, it's best to wait imo but i have been tempted to buy during sales tho

@Bamila Interesting as I have the in the later stages of the PS4 version, it’s had multiple patches on PS5, so I was tempted to replay on it, prior to this DLC.
I played PS4 Maneater at launch, so I will be extremely disappointed if the performance has not improved in all that time
Keep forgetting I need to finish this game. PS5 visual and dualsense enhancements were done well.
I've said it before on here, $15 is way too much for a game where the entirety of the gameplay is spam R2.

@Bamila When was the last time you played the game and noticed these issues? Perhaps the devs have patched it by now?

@musicologist83 I platinumed on PS4, but didn’t bother on PS5 as save doesn’t transfer… I now have an excuse to go around a 2nd time. TootToot
