It turns out the exclusivity period for Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection on Nintendo Switch was very short-lived because the game has now been confirmed for PlayStation 4. A new trailer above confirms the port, but doesn't go so far as to reveal a release date. Footage shares the typical gameplay sequences alongside positive quotes from various outlets, although we were under the impression this brutally tough experience had a very mixed reception. Nevertheless, we'll get to see for ourselves when it hits PS4, and PS5 owners can too via backwards compatibility.

When Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection hit Nintendo's hybrid system back in February, our chums over at Nintendo Life seemed to enjoy the masochistic undertaking. "If challenge is what you live for, toughen up, don that mental armour, and take up the mantle like a lance. If you put in the time and effort, Ghosts ’n Goblins Resurrection will see you reap the most valuable of gaming accomplishments: the prestige of victory." Maybe it's pretty good after all?
