On a regular basis, PlayStation publishes trailers for games of all shapes and sizes on its YouTube channel. If you're interested in indie titles or smaller projects, it's worth checking the page every now and then. The most recent trailer is for a little game called Savage Halloween, a retro action platformer based in a spooky world of pumkpins, skeletons, and clowns. The video's title indicates it's a trailer announcing the release date — but, er, there's no release date to be found. Now that's scary.
Don't worry, we've got your back. Savage Halloween is actually out right now, having released yesterday, 15th April, for PS4. Costing just £3.99 / $4.99, it might be worth a try if you're in the mood for some Halloween-themed fun. It doesn't look to be doing anything particularly new or exciting, but retro heads may well get a kick out of it.
Anyway, hopefully videos named "Release Date Trailer" will actually state the release date, moving forward. That seems like a smart move from where we're sitting.

Even they couldn't care enough about this game
Lol. I hope the release date is actually Halloween.
I bought it for $2.49 on Switch, let’s see if it’s worth it or not.
I kinda think this looks like fun, at £4 its a steal, downloading right now
Let us know how it is? I think it actually looks pretty cool!
Isn't it a release date trailer because it's a trailer that came out on the release date?
@Odium the eshop page also seems to have a screenshot from possibly a different game? The last image doesn’t seem to match the rest to me.
@Deadhunter It is out now indeed but these are usually called 'launch trailers', while 'release date trailers' are usually the ones revealing the release date
Anyway - it doesn't say "out now" either
Looks like Ghouls n Ghosts X Contra
@DrJames I was thinking Dare Devil Dennis x Cauldron
@Itsacardgame I didn’t look at the images, so I went back after reading your comment. That’s really odd.
Think it actually looks kinda fun? A game like this benefits most from drop in/out couch coop, though! Last second of the video made it look like that might be an option? For 4 quid, it's a tempting venture!
