After being delayed out of an initial spring launch window at the start of this year, Paradox Interactive has confirmed that its noir take on the 1920s illegal underworld named Empire of Sin will come to PlayStation 4 on 1st December 2020. There isn't a next-gen PlayStation 5 version confirmed at the time of writing, but you will be able to play it on Sony's upcoming system through backwards compatibility. Check out the trailer above for a taste of what you'll be signing up for with the latest title from Romero Games.

Alongside the release date confirmation was the unveiling of multiple Empire of Sin editions, each packing different pieces of content. The most expensive version of the lot — the Premium Edition costing £54.99/$69.99 on the PlayStation Store — reveals that the game will receive two post-launch expansions as well as an exclusive in-game mission only accessible with a pre-order. There is also a mobster pack, golden weapon set, and curb stomp execution kill as part of the Deluxe Edition.
