Update (12/8/20): Media Molecule's livestream showcasing the Ratchet & Clank project in Dreams has been and gone. However, you can watch the video above, and we'd suggest you do. Josh Leman of Insomniac Games goes in-depth on the game, which is a 2D shoot-'em-up rather than a 3D platformer. If you're into Dreams creation or just want to see how a professional designer makes use of the tools, it's a very interesting hour or so.

Original Story: This is a very cool story for a dreary Monday. We've all talked about how developers could make use of Dreams; it would be really fun to see what a seasoned professional can do with the tools. We're about to get a taste of just that, thanks to Insomniac Games.

Media Molecule has said that designer Josh Leman of the Burbank studio is currently building a Ratchet & Clank game within Dreams, using community-made assets.

More than that, we'll get a look at the in-progress project with a livestream tomorrow, 11th August, at 5pm BST.

It will be fascinating to see how Leman has been making use of Dreams. Having worked on games like Marvel's Spider-Man and the Ratchet & Clank PS4 remake, he's been a pro for a while now, so this livestream should be worth a watch. We're definitely interested to see his Dreams version of the Lombax and robot duo.
