The number of people this applies to must be incredibly small, but it has to be pretty weird seeing your own face in a game, right? Cascina Caradonna provided the face model for Dina in The Last of Us: Part II, and after recently playing through the original classic, she is now starting to play the sequel on her YouTube channel. Of course, we meet Dina early on in the story before leaving Jackson, and this moment proved to be a very emotional one for Cascina.
As you can see in the clip above, it is one of shock before the tears start rolling down her face. She goes on to explain how weird the whole thing is since it's literally her own face from a couple of years back. It's a really touching moment that proves just how far gaming technology has come -- to the point where a face can elicit an emotional response from someone who simply recognises themself.
