It’s crazy that we’re even writing this headline three months prior to the PlayStation 5’s purported release date, but genuine next-gen footage has been so short in supply that the story kinda writes itself. While we’re still yet to see a single second of gameplay running on Xbox Series X, the debut Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer was captured entirely on Sony’s new console.
So, how does it look? Pretty darn good, all things considered. This is ultimately a cross-gen title, so it was never going to push Sony’s new system to its limits, but the first footage teases some brilliantly bombastic set-pieces and a pretty impressive Ronald Reagan. Hopefully we’ll start to see more next-gen footage as the new consoles near launch.

Well I'm expecting this to launch in a one terabyte hard drive instead of a disc
November 13th a few dates ringing around on trailers etc atm so maybe ps5 launch date hinting big time? I would like to think so as it says captured on ps5 but I could be wrong about the date.
@suikoden remember you will be able to choose if you solely only want to install single player or multiplayer etc you won't have to install the whole disc/game.
Ok, I have to admit, that actually looked good. Wasn't expecting to see Reagan as a character.
I’ll play it if I get to play as the Reds. Loved the World at War campaign.
I hate FPS but got to admit it looks great and the time period is awesome.
Treyarch games not good
Reagan awful president
@jess3a3 Mr negative has arrived.
This game looks fantastic.
@I_Like_It - i'm excited to try the 3D audio through the pulse headset - hopefully i'm testing it out on demon souls day1!
I'm not interested in the game per se.... but I can't deny that it looks really good.
@suikoden
Maybe on ps4 but on the ps5 it should become small in size if they optimize it properly!
Looks cool.word up son
Being a historical setting, was wondering if they were going to pay licenses or modify vehicle designs to avoid it. Looks like the latter. F-14s look a little off, the wheeled UH-1s look like a weak attempt to avoid using the UH-60 and the less said about that An-22/124/225 hybrid the better.
On a similar note, I need to check if you need familial approval to recreate a real life person in a video game.
