Today marks the end of the video series detailing everything there is to know about The Last of Us: Part II. This final episode, titled Inside the World, is exactly what it says on the box. Naughty Dog employees discuss how the sequel's environments are much, much bigger than the original game's, both in terms of scope and how much there is to explore.
Narrative lead Halley Gross talks about how the team wanted to make every location feel hostile through the use of weather and almost making the player out to be blind. "You can never fully breathe and we want you to be in alignment with Ellie who can never fully breathe when she experiences this trauma."
This is probably the last piece of media coverage The Last of Us: Part II will receive before its launch trailer, so soak it up while you still can. The day we all get to play this PlayStation 4 exclusive draws ever closer. Was there a detail within this video you particularly liked? Let us know in the comments below.

I might be warming up to getting this closer to launch. Nothing is coming out in June that I'm really interested in, and the combat looks really great. The leaks are really terrible, but if it's tied together well then I can forgive the outcome, and accept it and least tolerate it, if the journey makes it all worth it.
I haven't watched any videos or coverage yet except a couple minutes of this video. Want to be surprised.
Im so tired of waiting.
I'm so excited for this game! My hype level is through the roof.
Could these weeks go any faster please?
Fifteen days until it’s out.... this is killing me 😭
Looks amazing looking forward to playing The last of us 2.
@Constable_What luckily I’ve played so many games between the original and this one I’ve lost track of all the characters and the leaks I accidentally read didn’t mean much to me.
The first one was amazing and I’d imagine this journey and level of quality is going to be up there and worth it as well
@777Reigns amazing strategy. Kudos to you to keep that goin. I wish you the best
Sometimes too much preview and hype is such a letdown to folks. Having less of a clue leaves so much more for enjoyable discovery.
@MasterEMFG I'm sure it'll be fine. I don't know if it'll be worth $60 though (I didn't but the original game for that price either), and I want to see reviews first.
@MasterEMFG There is still time for someone to spoil the surprise for me...lol. Hope not though.
I hope they didn't make the game too hard, the first one difficulty is perfect.
Watching this I get the distinct impression that I'm going to die. Often and very bloody!
Also, hordes?! I've only recently finished Days Gone and thought that nightmare was behind me and this time I won't be able to escape on a bike!
Gulp.
